Knoxville Police Arrest Man Wanted On Two Federal Warrants

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)- KPD Officers arrested a man wanted on two federal warrants Tuesday night at about 10 p.m..

Jeremy Gyurnek was found inside an apartment in Western Heights.

Officers went to that apartment because of multiple incidents that had the apartment tenants under an eviction notice.

When placed into custody Gyurnek was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Gyurnek was taken to the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility where he is being held on Federal warrants of Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon and Manufacturing Meth over 50 grams. Gyurnek was also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
