Laurel Falls Trail Closed After Rescue Crews Receive Report Of Woman Who Has Fallen - DEVELOPING
GSMNP, Tenn. - Laurel Falls Trail is currently closed after rescue crews received a report of a woman who had fallen near Laurel Falls. A spokesperson for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park said that park rangers got the call at around 9:15 a.m. on Monday morning. The representative said that park rangers and the park's technical rescue team have responded to the scene. As of 10 a.m., the trail was still closed and the spokesperson said there were no additional details available.
