Tennessee Mom Arrested For Throwing Booze-Filled Graduation Party Near Tipton County

A Tennessee mom out of Tipton County was arrested after allegedly throwing a booze-filled graduation party at her home last week, CBS affiliate WREG reported.

According to WREG, those who attended the party told deputies with the Tipton County Sheriff's Office that 41-year-old Dana Fowler gave them alcohol. They also said that marijuana was being smoked in the house.

"The witnesses that we’ve spoke to have all been under the age of 21 at least,” said Deputy Chief Shannon Beasley.

Officials found out about the party on Monday after one of the guests said they had been sexually assaulted while there. Fowler was arrested on Friday and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Beasley said that's a misdemeanor that could get Fowler up to almost one year behind bars if she's convicted. "She's not allowing them to drink, they're now allowing them to leave and operate their vehicle, endangering their lives and anyone else's life that's on the road with them," he said.

WREG said that Fowler has a son who graduated high school on Friday and that he could face charges as well.
