Knoxville 19-Year Old Gang Member Found Guilty Of First Degree Felony Murder

A gang member was found guilty of facilitation of first degree felony murder and facilitation of especially aggravated robbery Friday, according to District Attorney general Charme Allen's office.

According to the DA's office, 19-year-old Bradley Lamar Robinson was convicted as part of an investigation into a fatal shooting of a man on Linden Avenue during a robbery in November 2015. Robinson's sentencing was set for June 22.

The DA's office said that 19-year-old Tyshon Artrell Booker was convicted earlier in 2018 of first degree felony murder and especially aggravated robbery. Booker was sentenced to life in prison.

In two separate trials, prosecutors argued that on November 15, 2015, Booker and Robinson talked about getting a ride from the victim and setting up a robbery. The two called the victim and were riding in a vehicle in East Knoxville with the victim when Booker pulled a handgun on the victim so he could rob him. During the robbery, Booker shot the victim six times.

Booker and Robinson were both juveniles at the time of the shooting, the DA's office said. However, both of their cases were transferred to Criminal Court, where they were tried as adults.

At sentencing, Robinson faces 15 to 25 years in prison for facilitation of first degree felony murder. He also faces eight to 12 years in prison for facilitation of especially aggravated robbery.
