Kentucky Troopers Say High Speed Chase Tops 100MPH Before Ending On I-64, I-75 Near Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Kentucky troopers say a high-speed chase on Interstates 64 and 75 led to an arrest in Lexington.

Kentucky State Police said troopers tried to stop a driver on I-64 west because he was driving more than 100 mph. The driver did not stop, and troopers began chasing him through the southern split with I-75.

Troopers continued the pursuit on Winchester Road, which is where the driver bailed from the vehicle. Police used a stun gun to capture and arrest him. Investigators have not announced charges at this time.

The Kentucky State Police Drug Enforcement Special Investigations Unit is involved in the investigation.
