Knoxville Division Of FBI Lookig For Armed Robber Of Enrichment Federal Credit Union Friday

 The Knoxville Division of the FBI and the Knoxville Police Department announced they were seeking the public's help in identifying a man who robbed the Enrichment Federal Credit Union on Friday afternoon.

At around 2:05 p.m. on Friday, law enforcement agencies responded to the credit union robbery at the Enrichment Federal Credit Union on Kingston Pike in Knoxville.

The FBI said a lone white male entered the credit union, displayed the butt of a handgun and demanded money with a note. After the man obtained an undisclosed amount of money from the credit union, he fled.

Officials described the suspect as a white male, standing approximately 5'6" with a thin build. He was missing front teeth and had a tattoo on his left forearm, and he was wearing a baseball cap and a zip-up jacket with a hood.

Anyone with information about the suspect's identity was asked to call the Knoxville FBI office at 865-544-0751, or to call KPD at 865-215-7212.

The case was being investigated by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force, which is made up of the FBI, KPD and the Knox County Sheriff's Office.
