Blount County Woman Dies In Head-On Late NIght Crash; Criminal Charges Pending Against Other Driver
At 9:32 p.m., officials responded to reports of a vehicle crash on Topside Road in Louisville.
According to THP, one vehicle, a Chevrolet Silverado, was traveling eastbound on Topside Road when the driver failed to maintain control of the vehicle. The driver entered into the oncoming lane and struck a vehicle, a Chevrolet Cavalier, traveling westbound.
The driver of the Chevy Cavalier was killed and a passenger inside was injured.
In their report, THP said the driver of the Chevy Silverado had been drinking and that criminal charges were pending.
