Easter Egg Hunts Already Being Planned, Announced Across East Tennessee
Easter is right around the corner, and there's everything from brunch to Easter egg rolls going on across East Tennessee. Find something in your neck of the woods:
Anderson County
Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt with senior citizens
5:30-6:30 p.m. March 30, The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer's Center of Excellence, 960 S. Charles G. Seivers Blvd., Clinton
Ages 8 years old and younger can participate in Easter egg hunt with residents at center. Easter bunny available for photos. Call 865-457-4005 for more information.
Easter Eggstravaganza
2-4 p.m. March 31 at Cedar Hill Playground, 605 Michigan Ave., Oak Ridge
Carnival-type atmosphere, food, games, egg hunt, prizes and more.
Blount County
Easter Brunch & Sunrise Service
7 a.m. April 17 at Dancing Bear Lodge, 7140 E. Lamar Alexander Parkway, Townsend
Sunrise service begins at 7 a.m., coffee will be provided. Brunch at the Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro, 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m., $55 per person. Reservations recommended, call 800-369-0111. Preview the menu here.

7th Annual Easter Parade and Easter Egg Hunt
March 31, Roadside Park, 934 W Old Andrew Johnson Hwy, New Market
Parade begins at 11 a.m. on Old A.J. Highway at Lost Creek Golf Club, Easter egg hunt to follow at Roadside Park next to New Market Fire and Rescue.
Indoor Easter Egg Hunt
10 a.m.- noon, March 31, Dandridge Memorial Library, 1235 Circle Drive, Dandridge
Easter eggs hidden around library, some will contain special prize tickets.
Knox County
Zoo Knoxville’s Big Egg Hunt
9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, March 31. Easter eggs-some for guests and some for animals-will be hidden throughout the zoo and quite a few will have surprises inside. Zoo Knoxville is currently offering $2 off general admission tickets through Saturday
Easter Egg Hunt and Safety Saturday
10 a.m.-2 p.m. March 31 at Belle Morris Elementary School, 2308 Washington Pike, Knoxville
Egg hunts and races for various age groups from 10-11 a.m., Safety Saturday begins afterward at 11 a.m. Visit with first responders, tour emergency vehicles, see bomb robot in action. Snacks and drinks available. Visit event page for more information.
Easter egg hunt
1-3 p.m. March 31 at Beardsley Community Farm, 1741 Reynolds St., Knoxville
Free event but $5 donation per child accepted. Kids encouraged to bring Easter egg basket, Easter Bunny available for photos as well. Three age groups for hunt are 2- to 4-years-old at 1:20 p.m.; 5- to 7-year-olds around 1:30 p.m.; and 8- to 10-year-olds around 1:40 p.m. Barbecue sandwiches available for $2, water and Powerade provided for free.

10 a.m.-4 p.m. March 31 at Marble Springs State Historic Site, 1220 W. Governor John Sevier Highway, Knoxville
Free admission, $3 donation suggested. Easter egg roll, egg hunt, kids craft activities, storytelling by Governor Sevier as portrayed by Bob Jones, and more games.
