Blount County School Bus Crashes, Flips On Happy Valley Road Wednesday Afternoon
Blount County Dispatch reported to local news outlets Wednesday that a school bus had flipped and crashed, shutting down part of Happy Valley Road. The incident took place about 4:05 PM. Only the driver was in the school bus; no children were present. Authorities said they are working to flip the bus back upright and get a wrecker to the scene. No word yet as to what caused the school bus to crash, if the driver was injured or if any other cars were involved.
