Knox County Public Library And Imagination Library Celebrate Dolly Parton's Birthday January 19

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) - The Knox County Public Library and Imagination Library will be celebrating Dolly Parton's birthday.

Seven library locations will be hosting story time programs for children on Jan. 19 at 10:30 a.m. There will be crafts and cupcakes.

Children will be able to help make Parton an 8-foot-long birthday card.

The Knox County Imagination Library program has mailed out 2.5 million books to children in the area under the age of 5 since 2005.

The library system will be offering a library card inspired by the singer featuring the tagline "Reading gives you wings."
