Oak Ridge Police Search For Missing Teen

The Oak Ridge Police Department announced the search for a teen that has been missing since October 2017.



Shayla Cook, 16, of Oak Ridge, was last seen at her home on the evening of October 31, 2017. She was reported missing the next day by a family member who told authorities Shayla may have left on her own and be with a noncustodial parent.

Investigators told Local 8 News they have followed up on several leads from neighbors and family members without success. Oak Ridge officers said they have no reason to believe Shayla is in danger.
