Deputies responded to a call of a stabbing just after 2 a.m. at 7706 Rosie Lane. Upon arrival, KCSO said deputies discovered Daniel Lynn Hillard, 65, inside the residence, suffering from multiple stab wounds.

First responders pronounced the man dead at the scene. Deputies then detained the victim's son, 37-year-old John Paul Hillard, for questioning.
