Monroe County Man Charged With Stealing Mounted Hog's Head, Antler Wreaths From Tellico Plains Storage Unit

A Monroe County man was arrested – on suspicion that he had stolen a mounted hog's head and several deer antler wreaths from a storage unit in Tellico Plains.

27-year-old Phillip Goca of Madisonville was arrested for the burglary, which happened at the Willowbrooke Storage Units on December 6.

According to a police report from the Tellico Plains Police Department, the victim noticed that a man, identified as Goca, was carrying the items near their storage unit. When the victim and her husband chased after the suspect, he dropped the items and was cornered in a brush pile until officers arrived on the scene.

After his arrest, Goca was taken to the Monroe County Jail.
