One Dead In Anderson County Shooting

Anderson County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a homicide.

Deputies responded to a shooting shortly before 5 p.m. Sunday afternoon. It happened on Back Half Moon Road in the Frost Bottom Community.

On arrival, officials found Buford Glenn Phillips, 62, had been shot and killed.

Sheriff's investigators and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation were called to the scene are investigating the shooting.
