Crossville Police Department Warns Residents To Be On Lookout For "Dangerous Man" Wanted On Outstanding Warrant

CROSSVILLE, Tenn. (SOURCE: WVLT) -- The Crossville Police Department warned residents to be on the lookout for William Shone Moore, 39, who they believed to be armed and on foot. On Thursday evening, police said they had reason to believe Moore was no longer in the city limits of Crossville.

Police said any businesses that went into lockdown could return to normal security procedures. However, police urged the public to continue to look out for Moore.

Police described Moore as 6'3" tall and 235 pounds, with blue eyes and brown shaved/short hair.

Moore was last seen wearing yellow boots, a black Under Armour hat, blue jeans, a blue jacket and a black bag.

Police said Moore has an outstanding arrest warrant in Cumberland County.

Moore was considered to be armed and dangerous. Police said if anyone sees Moore, they should not approach or attempt to make contact, but should instead notify 911 immediately with his location and keep away.

Anyone with information pertaining to Moore's whereabouts was asked to call the Crossville Police Department at 931-484-7231.
