Third Person Charged In Connection To Morristown Murder Of 25-Year Old Man

HAMBLEN COUNTY - (SOURCE, WIRE, WVLT) - A third person has been charged in connection to a homicide that happened in Morristown last Friday night.

Police say Antonio Dewayne Yarbrough, 25, was shot in the upper thigh inside a Tulip Street home last Friday night at around 11:30 p.m. Yarbrough was transported to UT Medical Center, where he later died.

Heather Stringfield, 25, was arrested Thursday evening just after 6 p..m on warrants for felony murder, aggravated burglary and especially aggravated robbery.

Investigators believe Stringfield waited inside the vehicle while the two male suspects illegally entered the home and committed multiple crimes, including murder.

Authorities increased the charges of Nicholas Roberts and Michael Brandon Ratliff from second degree murder to felony murder, aggravated burglary and especially aggravated robbery.

The investigation is ongoing.
