Two Men On Run, One Dressed As Woman After Brazen West Knoxville Robbery Of Dry Cleaner

 The Knox County Sheriff's Office needs help identifying two men deputies said robbed a West Knoxville dry cleaners at gunpoint Friday.

Investigators said the men robbed the Farragut Cleaners at 430 N. Cedar Bluff Road around 4:00 Friday afternoon.

Deputies said one suspect brandished a gun at the clerk and demanded money. Authorities said both robbery suspects are black.

Deputies said one of the men was dressed as a woman, who was last seen wearing a salmon or pink tank top with a light colored tank top underneath. He was also wearing a yellow, turquoise and purple striped skirt and flip flops, according to authorities. The flip flops were left at the scene. KSCO said the man is 6’ to 6’2”, thin build and weighs about 150-160 pounds. Deputies said the man has black dreadlocks with red highlights that were about shoulder to mid-back length.

The second suspect was described as 6’-6’2”, medium build, around 200-210 pounds with short black hair. Deputies said the man was wearing a light colored t-shirt, blue jeans and dark blue or black hat.

Both suspects fled the scene in either a newer model dark blue or black Kia Optima or a dark blue or black Honda Civic.
