Campbell County Man Pleads Guilty To Second Degree Murder In Death of Three-Year Old LaFollete, TN.

CAMPBELL COUNTY, Tenn. (Source: WVLT) -- Joshua Adam Comer pleaded guilty to second degree murder and two counts of child abuse in the death of a three-year-old from LaFollete, Tenn. in 2014.

Three-year-old Gabriella Orton was the daughter of Comer's girlfriend and was killed on June 10, 2014.

In June of 2014, Comer was added to the TBI's top most wanted list in connection to her death. He was eventually captured at the house of someone he knew on Whitman Hollow Road.

On September 27, 2017, Comer pleaded guilty to second degree murder and two counts of child abuse. Reports say that on June 10, 2014, Comer struck Orton in the abdomen and killed her.

Comer received 25 years for second degree murder and two and a half years for both counts of child abuse culminating in a 30 year sentence.
