Drug Bust Leads To Arrest Of Four Blount County Residents

MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Investigators with the Fifth Judicial Drug Task Force with the Blount County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team executed a search warrant at a Maryville home that led to several arrests.

Officials arrested four people and cited two others on drug-related charges after investigating 914 Mynders Avenue in Maryville on Tuesday.

"We are committed to keeping Blount County a safe place to live and raise a family. We are aggressively fighting the heroin problem that has affected so many families," Sheriff Berrong commented.

Deputies identified Jeffrey Ronald Patterson, 58, and Kristi Danielle Brown, 36, as residents of the Mynders Avenue home. Jeffrey Patterson was charged with maintaining a dwelling where drugs are used or sold, possession of schedule I (heroin) with intent to sell, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Kristi Brown was charged with maintaining a dwelling where drugs are used or sold and possession of schedule I (heroin) with intent to sell.

Derek Nmn Johnson, 31, and Spencer Danarrd McDaniel, 35, both of Birmingham, Alabama, were charged with possession of schedule 1 (heroin) with intent to sell.
