Knoxville, Knox County 911 Centers Down Due To Lightning Strike
The Knoxville and Knox County 911 centers are operating off hand-held radios due to storms.

According to a representative with the Knoxville Police Department, the radios typically used are down as a result of a lightning strike.

Communications for emergency services will be carried out through the hand-held radios.
