OUR VIEW: Solar Eclipse Once In A Lifetime Event - Enjoy It But Be Safe

We are hours away this morning as we write this from a historic solar eclipse! We plan to write a more lengthy editorial later today about the prophetic significance of today as well as what the eclipse means on a grander scale for our great nation.

Today's total solar eclipse is rare in many ways.  The path of most total eclipses falls over water or unpopulated regions of the planet. The August event will go down as the first total solar eclipse whose path of totality stays completely in the United States since 1776, experts say, according the Space.com Total Solar Eclipse 2017 guide. It'll be the first TOTAL solar eclipse across America since 1918. A second event comes seven years from now carving a path that will make a cross in the heartland of our nation on April 8, 2024. That is significant as well.

Monday's total solar eclipse that will turn "day into night" for a few minutes across East Tennessee and other parts of the US, has not happened in the U.S. as stated, since 1776, that's to our roots. This is something that has not happened since the year we became the United States of America. The Heavens declare the Glory of God, so these things are not coincidental. Spending day reading, learning and meditating on our nation -we as a nation need prayer right now without a doubt...the heart and soul of the fabric of this great land is at stake from those wanting to destroy her from within.....as long as I have a voice in some small capacity I don't plan on letting that happening without a fight - how bout you.

Enjoy this historic day and be safe out there. More thoughts later today into tonight!
