One Dead In Downtown Knox Shooting Early Sunday
Knoxville Police are investigating an early morning shooting that left one man dead.

Officers received reports of a man shot near the corner of Lilac Ave. and Fern St. around 2 a.m on July 30.

When they arrived, officers discovered a man dead from a gunshot wound.

The name of the victim will not be released until the next of kin is notified.
