Heavy Rainfall, Storms Expected Next Few Days Over East Tennessee
If you see standing water, turn around, don't drown!
This morning’s low in Knoxville was 72 degrees. With mostly cloudy skies and pop-up showers and storms, afternoon temperatures spiked briefly into the mid-80s before cooling down in response to the rain.
Tonight, look for more showers and storms with patchy fog late and a low temperature of 67 degrees. Wednesday, expect scattered showers and storms with a high temperature of 77 degrees. Wednesday night, look for more showers, downpours and a few storms with a low temperature of 67 degrees. Thursday, expect periods of rain, downpours, and possible flooding with a high temperature of 76 degrees.
