Storm Damage, Accidents Close Roads Near West Knox Monday As Strong Storms Rake East Tn
A large part of Westland Drive in West Knoxville will be closed for several hours after an driver hit a utility pole Monday morning.
Lenior City Utility Board said a vehicle crash caused serious damage to power poles, and the road needs to be shut down for immediate repair in the 10000 block of Westland Drive.
The closure is at the intersection of Ebenezer Road and Westland Drive is near Gettysvue Polo, Golf and Country Club.
Over near Andes and Cureton roads, several downed LCUB power lines and poles have closed that area. LCUB reports the closure will likely be in place until 7-8 p.m.
