ALCOA, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Six people died in
an early Sunday morning house fire that authorities called the worst
tragedy they've seen in Alcoa.
Four adults and two children did not survive the tragedy. Loved ones
identified the victims as Raymond Mishoe, his wife, Patty, their
daughter, Olivia, her fiance, David Morgan and grandchildren, Aiden and
Jaxsen Morgan.
29 firefighters responded to the house in the 800 block of Wright Road
around 5:24 a.m. Crews said flames engulfed the property and there were
heavy fire conditions.
During a press conference Sunday, fire officials said they rescued and
performed CPR on four of the six victims but they later died.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. More information
will be released when it becomes available, the fire department said. |
