The Knoxville Division of the FBI
and the Knoxville Police Department announced they were seeking the
public's help in identifying a man who robbed the Enrichment Federal
Credit Union on Friday afternoon.
At around 2:05 p.m. on Friday, law enforcement agencies responded to the
credit union robbery at the Enrichment Federal Credit Union on Kingston
Pike in Knoxville.
The FBI said a lone white male entered the credit union, displayed the
butt of a handgun and demanded money with a note. After the man obtained
an undisclosed amount of money from the credit union, he fled.
Officials described the suspect as a white male, standing approximately
5'6" with a thin build. He was missing front teeth and had a tattoo on
his left forearm, and he was wearing a baseball cap and a zip-up jacket
with a hood.
Anyone with information about the suspect's identity was asked to call
the Knoxville FBI office at 865-544-0751, or to call KPD at
865-215-7212.
The case was being investigated by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force,
which is made up of the FBI, KPD and the Knox County Sheriff's Office. |
