An East Tennessee District Attorney for
the First Judicial District died in a Nashville hotel Sunday morning,
according to WTVF, CBS affiliate.
54-year-old Anthony "Tony" Clark, Unicoi County DA, died in a Cambria
Hotel room. Investigators said his family members were with him at the
time of his death, according to WTVF.
According to Metro Nashville Police, Clark appeared to have died from
natural causes.
Clark was a Johnson City native and a graduate of Greenville High
School. He earned his bachelor's degree from East Tennessee State
University and his law degree from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville
in 1992.
Clark and his staff served Washington, Unicoi, Carter, and Johnson
Counties.

Cambria Hotel. He was to have had a medical procedure here this week.
