Blount County Arrest Maryville Woman For Driving With Stolen Vehicle,
Drugs Inside
Blount County deputies arrested a
Maryville woman for driving a stolen vehicle with drugs inside Saturday.
Investigators said 38 year old April Anderson was found with .3 grams of
heroin and 3 grams of crystal methamphetamine packaged in several
individual bags for resale inside the car.
Officials also recovered more than $300 cash.
Further investigation determined the car Anderson was driving when
arrested was reported stolen from Knoxville.
Authorities said the license plate on the Chevrolet Trailblazer was
stolen from a different vehicle.
Anderson is being held in the Blount County Correctional Facility on a
$61,000 bond.
Anderson is charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled
substance (crystal methamphetamine) for resale, possession of a Schedule
I controlled substance (heroin) for resale, as well as possession of a
stolen vehicle.
