Knoxville Man Charged With First Degree Murder In Death Of Woman Whose
Remains Found in December 2017
The Knoxville Police Department charged a
52-year-old man with first degree murder in the death of Nakisha Scott,
a woman who went missing in May 2017 and whose remains were discovered
in December 2017.
Police have charged 52-year-old Michael Anthony Keck with first degree
murder in the death of Nakisha Scott.
According to police, Scott was reported missing in May 2017 and was last
seen walking to her estranged husband's home on May 28.
On December 2, the Campbell County Sheriff's Office investigated the
discovery of human remains in the Speedwell community. They were
transported to the Knox County Regional Forensic Center and were
determined to be Scott's.
