New Faces Now On Revamped Neyland Stadium Jumbotron That Was Completed Wednesday
Crews removed the image of ex-UT Football Coach Butch Jones on March 5, then took down the other two pictures after an uproar from Vol fans.
The picture of Jones was replaced by an image of Al Wilson, an All-American linebacker who led the Vols as team captain to a National Championship in 1998.
The other two photos were replaced by images of General Robert Neyland and former All-American tight end and current Dallas Cowboy Jason Witten.
Despite speculation over what would be done with the pictures once removed, a member of the crew who took the picture of Butch Jones down said they would be cut into pieces and recycled.
