Fire In North Knox Kills Five Family Cats
A fire that occurred at a residence off of Norris Freeway killed a family's five pet cats.

At 1:10 p.m. on Friday, Rural Metro responded to a structure fire at 9417 Pedigo Road off of Norris Freeway in North Knox County after a neighbor reported seeing flames and smoke coming from the back of the residence.

Entry crews were able to extinguish the fire, but they could not rescue the family's five cats.

Officials said the fire is still under investigation, and no injuries were reported. At this time, the condition of the residence is still unknown.
