City of Sevierville's Code Red Alert To Be Tested Today
SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- As part of
Tennessee Severe Weather Awareness Week, the City of Sevierville,
working with Sevier County and area communities, announced it would be
testing the Code Red alert system at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 2.
Sevierville residents who registered to receive alerts through the
system should receive a test alert message at the designated time.

person reports. Users can also sign up to receive general alerts, like
major road closures or significant city services interruptions, or
weather alerts from the National Weather Service.
