Sevierville High School Student Charged After Making Threatening Comment
SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- According to
the Sevierville Police Department, a 17-year-old Sevier County High
School student has been charged after allegedly making a threatening
comment.
SPD said the student was suspected of making a threatening comment "of a
general nature regarding school shootings."
SPD said that after further investigation, and after consulting with the
attorney general's office, the student was charged with harassment.
Police said the comment was not specifically made towards any school.
