Randy Boyd Purchases Single A Affiliate Of Cincinnati Reds That Will Play In Greeneville in 2018
Local business man Randy Boyd of Boyd Sports LLC will now operate three minor league baseball teams, all of them within the state of Tennessee.

Boyd currently manages the Tennessee Smokies, the AA affiliate of the Chicago Cubs and the Johnson City Cardinals, an affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals.

Boyd Sports announced Thursday that they entered into an agreement with the Cincinnati Reds to manage their short–season single A affiliate.

The team will play at Tusculum College in Greeneville beginning in the 2018 season.
