LaFollette Police Say Shooting Victim Pulled Himself Into Parking Lot,
Taken To UT Medical
LaFollette police said Tuesday night
that at around 6:55 p.m., officers were alerted to a shooting incident
when a victim pulled into the parking lot of the police department and
said they had been shot.
LPD said the victim had sustained a gunshot wound to their left forearm.
Officers began providing first aid to the victim.
When an ambulance arrived at the scene, the victim was taken to the UT
Medical Center emergency room for treatment.
Police said the crime scene was being processed and investigators were
speaking to possible witnesses.
LPD said a suspect had been taken into custody. The name of the suspect
and the victim were withheld as of Tuesday night pending further
investigation.
