Rural Metro Responds To Three Different House Fires In Knox County
Monday
Rural Metro Fire had a busy start to the
week Monday morning.
Crews responded to three different house fires in North Knox County from
8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Monday.
A representative with Rural Metro Fire said the first fire was suspected
to be from a fireplace and the second from a stove.
While firefighters were battling the blaze at the third fire, they were
shocked to find a raccoon in the home's attic. Investigators said they
are not sure whether the critter had anything to do with the fire.
No injuries were reported from the fires. Authorities said the three
properties received minor property damage.
