Sammie Watson, 65, was taken into custody
just before 9 a.m. Wednesday. The arrest followed an investigation by
KCSO's Organized Retail Crime Division and KCSO's Narcotics Division.
A search warrant was executed Wednesday at Watson's home in north Knox
County. During the search, KCSO said officers discovered what appeared
to be crack cocaine, Opana pills and Oxycodone pills.
Watson was charged with possession of a firearm with intent to arm, and
two counts of sale and delivery of a schedule II substance. He was taken
to the Roger D. Wilson Dentention Facility.
KCSO said Watson is a convicted felon who was on parole and has a
criminal history in Knox County that includes theft by shoplifting,
leaving the scene of an accident, simple possession/casual exchange,
multiple parole violations, larceny and stolen property. |
