Campbell County Schools Closed Today Due To 1450 Students Out Of School
Campbell County Director of Schools Larry Nidiffer told local news outlets the decision comes after about 27 percent of students in the school system were reported absent Tuesday. That adds up to nearly 1,450 students out of school.
Nidiffer said administrators noticed the extreme spike in absences Monday and Tuesday. He also mentioned that it's been difficult staffing teachers and even substitute teachers in view of the widespread sickness hitting Campbell County
