AAA announced the agency would be
offering Tow To Go services for Super Bowl Sunday in Tennessee.
Law enforcement agencies may be out in full force on Super Bowl Sunday,
patrolling for drunk or otherwise inebriated drivers. If you or someone
you know hasn't planned ahead for drinking at Super Bowl gatherings,
don't worry--there's still a way to get home safely.
The Tow To Go program is available Friday, Feburary 2, through 6 a.m.
Monday morning on February 5.
In Tennessee, drivers who need it can get a confidential local ride to a
safe location within 10 miles. The AAA tow truck will take the vehicle
and the driver home.
The service is free and available to both AAA members and non-members.
“Nobody wins when fans drive drunk,” said Amy Stracke, Managing
Director, Traffic Safety Advocacy for AAA – The Auto Club Group and
Executive Director of the ACG Traffic Safety Foundation. “If you’re
going to be celebrating the big game with alcohol, please plan ahead so
everybody wins and your loved ones get home safely.” |
