Sources close to the scene of a plane
crash in Scott County reported early Wednesday that one person was
killed and one person was injured.
Scott County dispatch confirms emergency crews were out Wednesday
morning searching for the overdue airplane in the Huntsville area. The
plane was reportedly located at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday near the 500 block
of Old Jamestown Road.
Details such as the type of aircraft and how many people were on board
were not available as of 10:30 a.m.
The Civil Air Patrol was notified of the incident. The Tennessee
Emergency Management Agency has a district coordinator involved in the
incident.
