Knoxville Police Say Three Wounded In Western Avenue Shooting Late

Knoxville Police Department is
investigating a shooting that wounded three people in northwest Knox
County Sunday.
Officers at the scene of a home at the 6100 block of Western Avenue say
that two men and a woman were injured.
Two of the victims suffered non-life threatening injuries and one other
was said to have potentially life threatening injuries. All three were
taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
Police also located three children who were inside the home during the
shooting. All three were unharmed.
Knox County dispatchers said the call came in around 8:15 p.m
