Tennessee ranked number 46 in a list of
states most and least affected by the Government Shutdown, according to
a report from WalletHub.
The report examined six key metrics: share of federal jobs, federal
contract dollars, percentage of children under the Children's Health
Insurance Program (CHIP), small business lending, real estate and access
to national parks.
Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia made up the top three states
most affected. Minnesota, Michigan and Indiana were the states least
affected, according to the study. |
