RUTLEDGE - Four
people were taken into custody after a three-county police chase
Thursday afternoon that ended in Grainger County.
The Hancock County sheriff says two men and two women were arrested
after the chase that started in Hancock County, went through Claiborne
County and then in to Grainger. The suspects are reported to have stolen
a motorcycle and pickup truck in Hancock County before ditching them and
taking off in another vehicle.
They were stopped on Highway 11W near Grainger County High School.
Deputies from Hancock, Claiborne and Grainger counties were involved, as
were the Tennessee Highway Patrol and Bean Station police. |
