Blount County Sheriff James Lee Berrong Announce Re-Election

The sheriff was appointed the position in 1989 and was re-elected each term since 1990.

"I am running to ensure Blount County remains a community in which all citizens want to raise their children and grandchildren. The one constant solution to today's problems is the ability to forge relationships and connections with people. I pride myself on the ability to see beyond the crime -- to see the individuals and care about the outcome," said Berrong. I want to continue to positively influence the quality of life in Blount County."
