Knoxville Health Department Warns Parents To Keep Kids Home If They Are Sick

Dear families,

As you know, flu season is upon us. Area hospitals are reporting a sharp increase in activity in their ERs. Flu cases have risen earlier than usual which could indicate a more severe flu season. We are working closely with Knox County Schools to monitor the situation in the community, but we need your help. Please keep your child home from school if he or she is sick.
