Crossville Family Escapes After Home
Explodes Into Flames
CROSSVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) - Homeowners
in a Cumberland County neighborhood say it's a miracle that a family of
three escaped their home after an explosion.
The fire broke out around 8:20 p.m. Monday in Crossville off of Roma
Drive. The Cumberland County Fire Department says the fire started in
the family's den and appears to be an explosion based on the debris
around the home.
Investigators say people within a few miles of the Roma Drive home could
feel the explosion.
