Harriman Police Looking Into Deadly Shooting That Leaves One Man Dead Saturday
Investigators said police discovered 31-year-old Jacob Christian Sizemore lying dead on the ground after they responded to reports of a shooting at the 200 block of Harding Road.
Authorities said Sizemore died of an apparent gunshot wound just after 8:00 a.m.
Several people were brought to the Harriman Police Department for questioning. One of them, according to investigators, admitted to shooting Sizemore out of self defense and the protection of others.
Police said they are not yet releasing the name of the shooter.
