Four People Barely Escape Strawberry Plains Fire Early Thursday

Four people escaped a Thursday night house fire in Strawberry Plains, according to the New Market Volunteer Fire Department.

The blaze happened on Bluegrass Lane, which is off of Old Dandridge Pike. Sammy Solomon with NMVFD says everyone inside the home escaped without injury.

Investigators say the fire started from a wooden stove located in the garage.
