Young-Williams Animal Center Offering Free Adoptions Through December 31

Young-Williams Animal Center announced an end of the year adoption special on Wednesday.

"Our New Year's resolution is to end 'pet-lessness' and find a home for so many deserving animals," says Janet Testerman, CEO of Young-Williams Animal Center. "That's why we are ending 2017 with a free adoption event to encourage our community members to rescue a new companion before the end of the year."

The center will offer free pet adoptions, not including puppies, until December 31. Adult dogs, cats and kittens are available for adoption. Puppies will be available for a $250 fee.

Each animal adopted during the special will receive a veterinary exam, spay/neuter surgery, some standard vaccinations, and a microchip with registration.

Young-Williams locations on Division Street, off Sutherland Avenue, Kingston Pike near Bearden Hill, Petco in Bearden at 4908 Kingston Pike, and Pet Supermarket at 5511 Kingston Pike will be participating in the special during regular business hours.
