Three Die In Single Car Carsh Near Sneedville Late Sunday

At least three people died in a single vehicle crash in Sneedville Sunday, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

Troopers say 31-year-old Dustin Johnson, the driver of the car that crashed, was traveling well over the 25 miles per hour speed limit down Highway 33 just after midnight.

Authorities said Johnson left the roadway, struck a tree and slammed into a parked pickup truck, killing 19-year-old Jesse Weems and 22-year-old and Starla Dalton.

Investigation said they will provide more information throughout the course of their investigation,.
